Ronna West (Markowitz)

I had lunch with Ronna the week before the reunion. I'm so grateful for that. Our moms were friends, so we basically knew each other forever. Her loss is heartbreaking.

It's with deep sadness that I read about  Ronna's passing. I remember our high school days spending time together. At our 50th reunion, we spent quite a while talking and catching up. RIP sweet lady. Deepest condolences to her family and may her memory be a blessing

I was so sad to hear of Ronna's passing. I not only remember her from HHS but also from Heights Temple. At one point we were even neighbors on Halcyon. Ronna would always greet me with her smile and a hello. Just saw her and Marty last week at Jack's. Marty I am so sorry for your loss but please remember the countless lives that are better of having known Ronna. May her memory be a blessing.

I was saddened to learn of Ronna's death. My friendship with Ronna started in Kindergarten at Taylor Elementary and continued through Wiley and Heights High. In class pictures, Ronna was always in the front row. She made me laugh and was generous and kind. A great friend to have.
On Fridays, Ronna  would drive some of us to football games in a red Mustang convertible and afterwards to Mawby's  for onion rings!
I have many fond memory's of our long time friendship.
My condolences to Marty and family.

I was sorry to hear about Ronna's passing.  I had known Ronna ever since our junior high school days at Wiley.
Ronna and I worked together at our first summer job.  We worked at the University Heights Municipal Swimming Pool.  Our job titles were "Locker Room Girl Bag Checker" and "Foot Checker" (checking between toes for athletes foot).  This was not Ronna's or my favorite job.  However, that was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.  Ronna and I remained friends through college.
Even though we did not see each other often during our later adult lives, I would periodically call Ronna to catch up with current family milestones.  Ronna had been a great friend and a great sounding board.  She had a great smile and a great sense of humor.  She was just a beautiful person.  I will miss her.  My condolences to Marty and family.
