Sandi Beck was my BF. . unfortunately not "forever". We met at Wiley Jr High in 7th grade...home room 206 Mr Liotta. Sandi was such a beautiful person...inside as well on the outside. She had a great personality and was a true & loyal friend to me. Sandi became engaged the night of our high school graduation. I was so excited when she called me at college and asked me to be the "maid of honor" at her wedding.
Sadly, Sandi was diagnosed with leukemia and passed away shortly after her wedding. I think of her often and know in my heart we would have still today been "BFF's". So hard to believe it's almost 50 years since she was taken from us.

Sandra Toby Beck Wessler graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in June of 1965. She chose not to go to college and went to work as a private secretary immediately after graduation. Sandy was diagnosed with leukemia in February of 1966. In May of that year, she and her high school sweetheart Barry Wessler were married. Sandy passed away in August of 1966.
Sandi was also my close friend. I picked her up to drive to school. She was an innocent and free spirit who though naive, spread joy to all who knew her.
