Um, everyone was in love with Debbie Milner, including me. 

Let's see if I remember all the kids, of whom I think she was the oldest:  Debbie, Dapne, Diane, Delores, Denise, maybe another sister whose name started with D, and John Arthur, the only brother. 

Debbie had to have been a brave kid, for she'd been almost crippled with polio, which affected one leg and caused her to limp.  (My father, David M. Kinsler, suffered an identical condition.)  

No matter: she was beautiful and, apparently excepting one Mr Hattox, thoroughly unattainable.
