Bud Posted Wednesday, November 28, 2018 09:11 AM i remember Bud from wood shop being the first girl to be able to take shop, Bud was so nice to me. I believe you live on in people’s memories. I visited Heights last year and what a change. Last month we were on a cruise . I started talking to the lady next to me she was a heights grad ! Thank you Stevie for all your work. RE: Bud Posted Sunday, July 21, 2019 12:53 PM I had no idea that any girls took shop, and it's a shame that more did not. I took two years of machine shop, which served me well years later when I machined and otherwise constructed the equipment for my PhD research. (My research project was deemed enough of a success that I was able to graduate, have a paper published, and be forgiven for the substantial hole I blew in the concrete floor of the lab.)
