Having a January birthday, I was  a "mid term" kid! When we moved to University Hts from Cleveland, I took summer school classes to "accelerate" to be a full 8th grader so I could be in a June graduating class.

Anyone else out there? I know Donna Robbins did the same, cuz her parents are the ones who told my parents that she was doing the same thing! (...and NO, we are NOT related! LMAO!)

I should have been in the January '66 class due to my November birthday, but my cousin Carolyn taught me how to read before I went to school. They didn't know what to do with me, so they "skipped" me to the 2nd grade. They tested me in front of the Taylor faculty. I still have the letter from Dr. T.K. Mullen thanking my parents for allowing the test.

I met one of my best friends who was a 1/66 grad.  (Dianne Thompson)  We still keep in touch!
