Dr. Jeffrey B. Arenswald, 55, a longtime dermatologist, died in Florida on Dec. 30 while on vacation there. A native Clevelander, he had lived in Las Vegas for the past 14 years. Dr. Arenswald established Nevada Dermatology and was a professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. He was a collector of classic automobiles and loved basketball.
Jeffrey and I were in home room together at Wiley- Mr. Kolda's band room. He was a very nice guy and we spent many good times together. We lost touch when we went off to Heights. Another gone too soon. May he rest in peace.
Jeffrey & I were buddies at Northwood and Wiley. I remember sleeping over his house a lot and playing lots of basketball. He was an all around great guy and his parents were always supportive of many of the activities we shared as kids. Jeffrey always helped me out with my delivering the Press on the route I had on his street. I wish we could have stayed friends after high school.
