Sandy seemed a rather quiet soul at Monticello JHS. Toward graduation at Heights, it seemed as if she may have been experiencing some fundamental turmoil in her life. Does anyone know what happened?
Sorry to see that Sandra (Sandy Aebie) has passed away. I went all through school with her, Noble Road, Monticello & Heights. We were friends buit lost track of her in High School. Her Dad (I Beleive) owed a Mobile Gas Station on the corner of Monticello & Noble Road. She was quiet but sweet and very easy to get alonmg with, a pretty girl. May God rest her Soul.
Funeral services for Sandra L. Smith (nee Aebie) will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Johnson-Romito Funeral Home, 521 Broadway, Bedford. Mrs. Smith, of Bedford Heights, died March 5. She was 61.
Mrs. Smith was the wife of the late Roy Clyde Smith and the mother of Kevin Smith, Stacey Butina (Michael) and Michael Smith (Francine), grandmother of Christina, Carla, Chelsea, Connor, Anthony, Nicholas, Tia and Joshua, great grandmother of Jaylin, sister of Susan Preuss and Norman Aebie, friend of Shelly, Joyce, Linda and Mary, and many others.
Mrs. Smith, the daughter of the late Norman and Florence (nee Rock) Aebie, worked as a bus driver for the Bedford City School District.
Friends will be received 2-4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
