Stephen Yulish

From the Norvel Owens Mortuary in Flagstaff, AZ

Adored husband, father, and friend, Dr. Stephen M. Yulish, 65, died in his home of M.S. complications on November 19, 2012 with his wife and daughter by his side. A memorial service is set for Saturday, December 1 at 2:00 p.m. at Lamb of God Bible Church, 2615 East 7th Ave, Flagstaff, Arizona, of which he was a member. Dr.Yulish was born October 1, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio to Sam and Evalyn Yulish.

He graduated from the University of Illinois with a Doctorate in Philosophy and later worked for the Jewish Federation and was involved in the Jewish Community organizations in Phoenix. He later moved to Flagstaff, AZ. He has written three published books and numerous articles for internet publications. He was a regular contributor to radio and television programs. He was founder of Chayim Chadashim Ministries and was a board member of Hosanna Ministries. He also served on the board of Jewish Voice Broadcast. He was a Commissioned Man with the FMM. His interests included family and writing.

Stephen and Paula married as best friends, soul mates, and sweethearts in March 1990.

Dr. Yulish is survived by his wife, Paula of 22 years; three sons and spouses, Joshua and Amy Yulish, Avi Yulish, and Noah and Torrine Yulish; two daughters and spouses, Andrea and Clayton McCauslin and Kendra and Jamin McHatton; six grandchildren; and one sister, Holly, Somogyi.
