In remembering our beloved Sue, I found that the student index at the end of our senior Cauldron has NINE pages listed for her senior activities, ranging from Swim Cadets, to orchestra, to Girls' Cabinet, among others. I think this says it all about this remarkable girl we were honored to have in our class. I was lucky to have known her at Heights, and I mourn the passing of our great friend.
Sue was involved in so many activities at Heights and always a pleasant person to be with. Sue was one of the people that held the class together and it is not surprising that she had careers in nursing and then in helping other people grow their businesses. Her pictures on this site are 100% accurate - smiling and warm. She made the world a better place.
I suddenly wish I could have known Sue Talbert better. Her bio relates a wonderful caring person, much as she was at Heights. Have you all seen her charming School story? I hope I am permitted to copy it here, below.
Rest in peace, Sue! We will miss your effervescence, but the memory of it will stay alive.

School Story
Senior year, I had my own Hall Pass. I stole one from the office and forged Miss Graham's signature. I used it frequently to get friends out of class. Who would have thought?!
Others have commented about the array of activities with which Sue was involved at Heights. What I want to note is that Sue was my girl friend second semseter senior year. As happens, we mostly lost touch after hight school, though the limited contact we had was very nice.
