Jullie's sweet smile and the beautiful sounds of her flute playing are forever memories.
May her memory be for a blessing.

I knew Julie throughtout Millikin elementary and Monticello junior high school. Julie loved her music and became an exceptional flutist. Although quiet, Julie became friendly when she began to know you. On balance, Julie was another of the very good people that we had the honor to be in our class and memories May she rest in peace!

Very Sad to hear of Julie Stern's passing. She was a very kind, loving soul. I met her at Monticello Junior High School, She was a very Talented musician and was kind to all she met. I admiree her talents with the flute and her kindness towards her classmates. I said Hello to her everytime our paths crossed, She would always say Hi back, always a perfect Lady, My Sympathy to her Family & Friends. We were very fortunate to have her in the CLass of 1965. May she rest in peace.

It is a pleasure to see how many classmates have commented about Julie, considering how quiet and reserved she was in school. I also went through Millikin, Monticello and Heights with Julie but I never had a single conversation with her. Then, at a recent Heights reunion, I spoke with her for about a half hour and it was great to hear she had lived a full life.
We were in the band together. I imagine music was always in her soul.
May her Memory be a blessing.
