Barbara A. Bruno (nee Krueger), age 61, of North Ridgeville died Saturday February 21, 2009 at her home following a courageous eight year battle with ovarian cancer .
Barbara had lived in North Ridgeville for the past five years, moving from Euclid. She had been employed for twenty-five years as a human resource director for North American Coating Laboratories in Mentor. She was a member of St. Peter Church, North Ridgeville, enjoyed arts and crafts, and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving is her husband of thirty-one years, Michael; daughter, Tracy Davis (Chad) of Avon; son, Michael, of North Ridgeville; grandchildren, Parker and Camden Davis; sisters, Gail Markowitz, of Lakewood and Judy Stephens (Tom), of Tucson, AZ, and was the cousin, friend and loved one of many.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Herman "Babe" and Ethel Krueger (nee Toth).
Family will receive friends Sunday from 2-5PM and Monday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. A prayer service will be held at 9:30AM Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00AM Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Stephen Kaminski, pastor, will be the celebrant. Interment to follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
Donations have been suggested in memory of Barbara to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, 4719 Reed Rd. #150, Columbus, OH 43220.
