This was all I could find in a search for Rick's obituary:

Richard was born on October 6, 1947 and passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014. Richard was a resident of Southern Pines, North Carolina.

I remember Ricky from Taylor. He was always the nicest guy. I feel fortunate to have spent some time at the 40th reunion catching up with him, and sad because I was looking forward to seeing him again next year. He submitted a whole page in the memory book from that reunion.

I was saddened beyonds words when I saw that Ricky was gone.  Many will remember that he and I "went together" for almost 2 years ( sophmore and part of junior year) at Heights.  He was truly my first love!    He was so loving,  kind, caring and thoughtful.  I couldn't have asked for a better example to look for in my later years.  I had the pleasure of sharing time with him and his beautiful wife Sharon at our 40th reunion.  I am truly grateful for that and will always remember that time and him.  My heart and prayers go out to his family!  What a tragic loss for them and all that were close to him.   He will truly be missed.
