I'm so sorry to read this: whenever I get the news of another classmate's death I always shudder and open the email with trepidation, and it was never more true than getting the message this morning. Cal was just one good person - I knew him at Wiley and Heights and he always had a kind word and smile. He was just such a genuine friend. I saw him at some of the early reunions and always enjoyed reminiscing. May his memory be for a blessing.

Cal was one of my few friends outside of the band and orchestra. He always had nice things to say about other classmates. We only kept in touch with this website wishing each other birthday wishes. My his family and friends always remember what a caring father, husband and friend he was,

I knew Cal from elementary school through junior high and high school. He was always considerate and friendly. In addition to sports, Cal was a terrific photographer. Last saw him at the 50th reunion and he looked well and happy wth life. I will miss him. His was a life well lived.

Cal and I were close friends in High School and maintained a friendly relationship to the present time. He was a person with whom I shared many fun times and most importantly he was a great human being. RIP my friend.
