Sandy and I were very close friends at Wiley, Heights, and remained very close for the rest of our lives even though she was in Cleveland and I was in Michigan. I was also friends with her husband, Jim, who died of Covid several years ago. I often joke that Sandy was my only friend who attended both my weddings!!
Sandy embodied all the qualities of a friend. We shared good times and hard times. We stayed at each other's houses. We loved to shop and play Scrabble. We never lost touch and always knew what was going on in each other's lives. I will truly miss my dear friend Sandy.
