I just got on the 1965 class site this morning after Bill"s memorial and read a message he had sent me February 28, 2018." I remember playing little league baseball together. BarneyTaylor was the coach. i hit you with a pitch during practice one Saturday. Had real problems throwing inside after hitting our catcher. Hope all is well with you and your family. Bill Evans.

I am really sorry i never got to respond. I would have told you that I moved as slow as paint dries, and probably didnt get out of the way in time. Rest in peace,Bill.

Sincere Condolences to your family,

"Richie"

I remember Bill Evans.  Nice kid with glasses, as I recall.  He led a good and purposeful life, and may he rest in peace.

I met Bill in Junior High and we were very close for years.  I was at his house many times and got to know his parents and sister quite well.  The death notice for Bill lists his sister's given name but everyone who knew her called her "Taffy".

They had a boat and kept it at Wildwood Marina (I think that was the name of the Marina) and we would go out on Lake Erie and water ski.  I became somewhat proficient up to the point of only using one ski.  Bill's family gave me such a wonderful, fun opportunity.  After High School, I basically lost track of Bill.  It saddens me to think that I never saw him again.

Met Bill while attending Monticello Junior High. We became friends and hung out together. We had several mutual friends, one in paticular Bill Anderson. We had a lot of fun together. I was very proud of Bill for his accomplishments in the legal field, being a Judge and all. A real down to earth Man. He wil be missed by his Family, Friends and Community. Rest in peace my Brother. Sympahty and Prayers to the Family.

Bill Evens.......... wow lots of fun memories from A Cappella Choir days. When I think of Bill, my memories are of him was being very tall, quiet, and someone who was very kind. He was a thinker and an observer.

I am sorry for his family and friends for having to keep him close in memory.
