Jackie was not only one of my BFFs at Heights, but she later became my sister-in-law and mother of my niece and nephew. She was an artist, musician, and a beautiful soul that was taken from us in 1986 at the age of 38. We were blessed to have her, and her amazing talents live on in her children and grandchildren.

Jackie was such a warm person with a loving personality. We spent many hours on the phone practicing Choir music and talking about our lives and dreams. When I think of Jackie, I can see her sweet smile.

Jackie Spitx was a great person  and  I knew her from the 7th grade though the 9th on. I did not have much dealing with her except top maybe see her in the hall once or twice. She was going out with Tony Tabor in 8th or 9th grade and Tony and I hung out together when I was free from working after school Sorry to hear that she was taken at such an early age. Jackie knew me and was always very nice to me as I was not a model student  and really did not fit into the real social seen with the girls but were friends with the guys that were , I was in all the troubled classes with the kind of JD’s so Jackie and I never really knew each other , however I was always impressed with her
