I was sorry to hear that Hillary had passed away she was in a few class with me.

Although I was not a very social person she was always very nice to me. I knew from the grape vine that Hillary and Don had moved out west, I think Arizona and got married to Don. I did not know Don very well, he most likely would not remember me however I wish to extend my condolences to Don as I know what a loss it must be for him as Hillary and Don were always together with each other. They made the all American couple

I read Hillary's grave stone wife, mother ,grandmother. It seems like yesterday she was walking the halls at CCHS with Don. I knew Hillary thru Don as Don and I  were friends.

The following poem came to mind I think Don understands

If We Could Bring You Back Again

If we could bring you back again,
For one more hour or day,
We’d express all our unspoken love;
We’d have countless things to say.

If we could bring you back again,
We’d say we treasured you,
And that your presence in our lives
Meant more than we ever knew.

If we could bring you back again,
To tell you what we should,
You’d know how much we miss you now,
And if we could, we would.

I knew Hillary very well.  We were friends for a long time.  She would come to my house before school and we would make cinnamon/sugar/butter toast and eat it and then go to school.  Oh, my, the things that make an impression on us.  We also spent quite a bit of time in our bedrooms listening to music.  Such fun.

In class, we were pretty bad.  If Jackie Newman was in the class with us, it was all over.  We (three) would laugh and laugh.  Can't even remember which class it was but we definitely had a great time.  Did we learn anything, who knows???

I was also in her wedding.  I remember that very well.  And, yes, she and Don were a great couple.

I only found out at our last reunion that she was gone.  I had no idea.  It makes me very sad to think about it. Very, very sad.

p.s.  If anyone out there knows her sister Karen's married name, please tell me.  Thank you!
