Carol (Formerly Eleanor) Hammer (Willis-Holden)

He was my next-door neighbor on Washington Blvd. (right behind the school). These people are leaving us way too soon! Blessings and love to his family.

Art was a wonderful friend and I was priviledged to know him.  From the days of walking to school together to his untimely death, Art was my friend.  I miss his frequent calls and smiling face...well maybe not always smiling, but I still miss him!

Art and I sat next to each other in homeroom throughout high school and we became great friends.  We lost touch after college when he moved to Virginia and I moved to the west coast, but much later we rediscovered each other through the internet.  Once I went to Annapolis to visit my son, and Art picked me up and took me to breakfast.  It was wonderful to see him in person again!  We stayed "email buddies" and when I was trying to lose weight, he was my main support through inspirational tips and recipe suggestions.  I really miss his presence in my life!
