Steve, and maybe his twin brother Norton, were on the HHS wresting team. I remember Steve as being totally dedicated to being the very best at wrestling, and working very hard at practices.

Our beloved teammates are leaving us far too early.

I was very sad to learn of Steve's passing. In high school and Jr. High he and Norty were friends. At his funeral yesterday the people who spoke so beautifully about him captured his essence. He was a good friend, parent, and husband. What was stressed was his passion for life, Judaism and his family. He will be missed by many but his impact on his students and friends will live on for years to come. That is his legacy.

So sad to hear about Steve.  I had the pleasure of running into him about 10 years ago.  I hired a fundraising company and was surprised to have Steve walk into my office representing the company...in New Jersey-small world.  We worked together for several months and I kept up with him for a time.

I later was visiting Cleveland and saw him (or a person I though was him) at Bed Bath and Beyond, walked up behind him, covered his eyes and said..."Guess Who"?  When he couldn't guess who... I found out that it was his twin brother Norton-oh well I suppose they were used to that happening.

He was a wonderful compassionate guy who will be missed by many.
