Hello Class of 1965 Cleveland Heights High School, I'm sad to let you know that Tim McGarry passed away Oct 30th, 2013 of a massive stroke. He lived in Wisconsin most of his life after serving 5 1/2 years in the U.S. Air Force. He loved to fish, hunt and have fun working with computers and building computers. I married Tim in 1971 - we had 42 wonderful years together. I miss him very much, and think about him everyday. Linda (wife).

 

Timothy K. McGarry of Webster passed away on October 30, 2013 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the age of 66 years.

Tim was born January 18, 1947 to Katheryn (Schreiber) and Kenneth McGarry in East Cleveland, Ohio. He served in the United States Air Force from 1965 to 1971 where he was a Russian Linguist in Berlin, Germany. He married Linda on December 17, 1971.

Tim loved to fish. He was an accomplished, master level chess player. He enjoyed listening to music.

Tim worked for Tandy Corporation for over 20 years as well as several other hardware and software companies. He won awards for his accomplishments in I.T. Management and Sales.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Linda; his sisters, Noreen McGarry, Patricia (Ralph) Pirc and Sharon McGarry; his brothers, Thomas (Melinda) McGarry and James (Sheila) Held; as well as Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and good friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 11:00 (visitation from 10-11) at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster, Wisconsin with Pastor Steve Ward officiating. Interment to follow at Northern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, Wisconsin at 12:30 pm. Arrangements entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster Wisconsin.
