I was very sorry to read about Jim. I remember him from Hebrew school and Jr and senior high. He was always friendly and a mensch. May his memory be a blessing.

I will always remember my friend Jimmy and all of the times Jimmy came to my house and sat on my front steps.  We laughed and talked.  He kept his sweet smile through the years.  So sad to hear of his death.  May his memory be a blessing.

Very often the comments are about people I never really knew. This time all I can say is Baruch Dayan HaEmet. SO hard to believe. May is family be comforted with all the mourners of Yerushalayim and Zion

Jimmy & I were good friends growing up at Milliken & Monticello. Fond memories of playing baseball & just hanging out around the neighborhood. Like many others I imagine , we went in different directions in high school & regretfully didn't keep in touch after graduation. I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing.Condolences to his family and loved ones.

I knew Jim since the sixth grade at Millikin and went through Junior and Senior High School with him.  He was a stand-up person and always very positive.  It was good to see Jim in 2015 at our 50th Reunion.  My condolences to his family and may he rest in peace!

Every report of the passing of a Heights Classmate takes a piece out of me, especially when it is somebody I knew well. When it is a classmate from Millikin, it really hurts.

Jimmy was a good guy, a lot of fun. He was in real estate, and he helped my Folks sell the home on Shannon Road forty five years ago. They liked him and thought he did a great job.

Jimmy, rest in peace with the knowledge your Memory will be a blessing for all of us who knew you.

We have lost so many of our class mates and it makes me just that much more aware of how estranged I have become from so many people, some who like Jimmy Fixler OBM I remember and some who the name sounds familiar but that is as far as it goes. May we all make an effort to renew our connection.

It is with much sadness that Jimmy is gone. Jimmy was my first friend when my family moved to Cleveland in 1953. We lived in the same apartment building and attended Chesterfield Elementary School. Our families remained longtime friends throughout the years. May his memory be blessed to be among others of righteous memory.
