a few thoughts and an open invitation

Hello class of "65. It will be nice to see everyone this weekend. A couple of things from me :):)

First of all, a sincere thank you to Elaine Arnoff Silver for her great diligence and organization, without which, this event would not occur. I would also like to thank Stephanie Katz Farley for creating and maintaining this wonderful website :):)

   And now a couple of invites. For those of you who will be on the east side Saturday morning. My husband and I, Eve 'n' Stephen, will be singing and playing at The North Union Farmer's Market at Shaker Square from 9 am until noon. The market is a great place to have breakfast/brunch and hang out with us! You are all invited. Also, on Sunday afternoon, our yard and garden will be available for your respite if you want to stroll the neighborhood near the high school. CHHS has just begun the deconstruction/ reconstruction process so the school is inaccessible. Regardless, you are welcome to stop by, throw some beer in the fridge in the garage, and party on!

   Finally, in a moment of reflection, on Saturday night we will join our voices together and sing our Alma Mater. The words are:

                                 In honor of dear Heights,

                                We gather here to sing;

                                To show our love and loyalty,

                                We let our voices ring.

                                 All Hail our Alma Mater

                                 All Hail the Black and Gold

                                And may those colors symbolize,

                                The spirit we uphold.....

                                 And may those colors symbolize,

                                 The spirit we uphold!

                                 The gold in dear Height's colors,

                                 Comes from the eastern sky;

                                 It shows a shining future for

                                Our own beloved Heights High.

                                Then rally 'round the standard

                                Which bears our colors bright.

                                May it inspite in every heart

                                The love for truth and right.

                                May it inspire in every heart

                                The love for truth and right!

              The weather should be great this weekend in Northeast Ohio.

              To those who are traveling, blessings on your way.

                                        peace, love, and namaste   :):)   Evie Rosen-Morris
